I seem to make a lot of nephew cards...I only have 2 nephews but I love making their cards :)

40th Birthday Card

A friend asked me to make this for her husband's 40th...she wanted an american theme because she had bought him a trip to New York for his present and thought it would be a nice momento for him. I enjoyed making this one. Unfortunately the photo doesn't do it justice as it doesn't show the layers very well on the flag, button and sentiment.

Mother's Day card

A very quick and simple card that I made for my darling little mum-in-law, sweet and simple, she will love it.

70th Birthday Card

This is my first attempt at making a card using Serif Craft Artist Pro, which I have only recently bought so thought I should have a dabble lol. I'm really pleased with how the card turned out as it is simple but very pretty. I love how you can print text to go in different directions. The inner background and the heart shape were made with the Serif, which I then matted onto dark green card to add layers to the general appearance of the finished card. I also added punched butterflies to also add dimension. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I finished off the card with a few colour co-ordinating pearls and of course some glitter.
It is for my daughter's mother-in-law who will be 70 next week. I hope she likes it!!
I have decided to be very brave...or very foolish...and enter this in the latest Glitter Geeks challenge 'Week 18 - Flower Power'.

Christening card

This card was made for a colleague.....she wanted it for her niece Daisy....the papers are 'Celebrations' from Fizzy Moon. The sentiment (bottom right) and the image are both from a set of Buzzcraft clear, rubber stamps,the image has been coloured with promarkers...

My cat Eric

This is my cat Eric.......he managed to reach the grand old age of 16 this week....I hope he has many more birthdays !!! I made him a little card, I think he liked it lol.....

Card for nephew

Have just spent a lovely afternoon making this card for my nephew, his birthday is towards the end of September. The backing papers are from Bearly Mine Designs and the digi stamp is from Mo's Digital pencil, coloured in with promarkers. I think I might enter this into the Glitter Geeks challenge. Busy day today...

Been in panic mode......lots of card orders to do and not a lot of spare time! Managed to get 3 done today - a new baby girl card (not yet born so no name!), a 1st Birthday card and a wedding card. Tomorrow a birthday card for a 12 year old golf fanatic.......yes an easy one yikes!! and another new baby girl card, blimey these babies are popping out at the moment. Off to watch the eclipse now folks...bye for now :)))xxx

The photos really don't do this card justice......the pastel backing papers are very pretty....they and the teddy decoupage are from the Daisy & Dandelion range...I have used nestability dies and lots of gems and glitter....

I was asked to do a card 'with lots of pink.....lots of ribbon.....and lots of bling'......so here it is lol.....

Love the colours...pink and green go surprisingly well together...Martha Stewart border and butterfly punches and flowers again from Wild Orchid Crafts, will need to buy more soon at this rate lol...added lots of glitter and gems for my girl :))

Easel card for my nephew.....a very keen runner......took ages cutting out the circles with my sizzix but well worth the effort for a special person......

Slight change to anniversary card

I did make a slight change to my husband's anniversary card before I gave it to him on Monday...the flowers in the top left corner, from Wild Orchid Crafts, aka the great Bev Rochester..even though the card is for a man I knew he would love it..

They're a bit out of focus....used my new camera which I only bought today, will take a while to get used to I think. Always find 'easel' cards difficult to photograph though :( 
Hope he likes it, taking it to the Lake District when we go on Friday, for our anniversary on Monday :)
